New Jersey native Christine Gaydos is a Music Education major and a Music Management minor with a concentration in percussion at the University of Delaware. While at the university she has participated in the symphonic band, collegium, wind ensemble, symphony orchestra, percussion ensemble, "Delaware Steel" steel drum ensemble, and has spent 4 years in the University of Delaware "Fightin' Blue Hens" as a member of the front ensemble under Jim Ancona. In 2009 she traveled to Sweden to represent UD in the internationally renowned Bastad Chamber Music Festival. She also is a former member of The Colonial Musketeers Jr. Ancient Fife and Drum corps. While a snare drummer in the Colonial Musketeers, Christine toured throughout North America, including performances in Canada, Colonial Williamsburg, and Bermuda. Currently Christine is a percussion instructor with the UD Community Music School and an an arranger/instructor for the Caesar Rodney High School Marching Band.
